Even in the midst of the summer, some of us (San Franciscans) are still wearing turtlenecks and planning our last-minute vacations. Curating the perfect wardrobe isn’t easy. I’ve always been a fan of dresses that can be worn all year round, regardless of the season. A lightweight dress can be paired with stylish flat shoes in the summer, or it can be accessorized with tights and a sweater in the fall and winter. This saves time, and it saves space in your carry-on. You can be pretty and prudent when you pack. Travel is complicated; style shouldn’t be.

This summer I will be heading to…

Warsaw in Poland to see my family and then to New York where I will spend most of my summer days. In in NY I will be working on our new product that will premiere this Fall. I am very excited!

My suitcase will be filled with…

Dresses: Hamptons Coral Dress (starfish), the black and white slip dress that can be worn with a blazer and any sweater when the weather gets cold. It’s important to always pack sneakers and good pair of high heels. I like to match elegant dresses with sport shoes. As long as your dress is of great quality that you feel comfortable in and versatile you can always add converse shoes and look great! My suitcase will also be filled with a few good books.

Fiction that brings me to a totally different place, time, and location.

Favorite beach destination…

Cote’d azur. I also like Panama Beach in Florida, not very crowded and perfect for relaxing.

How do I keep work and life balance…

Making sure I always find time to work out. Yoga and running help me transition between work and personal life to ensure I catch up with my own breath. You need to function well on both fronts.

Best travel tip… 

I like to travel a lot by myself. I think it’s important for every woman to take a solo trip at least once a year. I regenerate, hear my thoughts, try new food and linger in many cafes, reading and watching people. I also limit my wardrobe to a few essentials. Traveling is more convenient when you don’t have to worry too much about what to wear. During the year while I shop and design our dresses I often ask myself if a dress is versatile enough to wear in summer.
