Art Basel seen by Anna-Alexia Basile

December is one of the most anticipated months. Not only due to the holidays but also because of Art Basel where Art, Fashion and best minds cross paths.

AAB: South Beach is covered with the most vibrant lifeguard stations all along the beach. They’re the perfect place to watch the sky change or escape the rain.

The fashion, lifestyle and travel photographer Anna-Alexia Basile here wearing Kamila Dmowska Black & White Slip Dress — shares with us her favorite art, best Miami spots and Art Basel story.

Art Basel clothing essentials… A soft slip dress, colorful sunnies, and a bikini.

My favorite part of Art Basel Miami is… The warm breeze and the amalgamation of talent and excitement.

My go-to Miami food spots are… Las Olas for breakfast, La Sandwicherie for lunch, Jimmy’s Kitchen for dinner, and Pizza Rustica for second dinner.

And for a cocktail… Nothing like a good ender drink at the Deuce.

My favorite show was… Untitled.

Every year you can find me… At the Standard Hotel hot tub on Sunday afternoons.

Describe Art Basel in six words… Look all day, party all night.

AAB: Palm-gazing on the way to Scope during one of the few sunny moments of Art Basel 2015. Right: Details of UNBUILT, the entry pavilion for Design Miami 2015, designed by Joanne Cheung, Jenny Shen, Steven Meyer, Doug Harsevoort and Yiliu Shen-Burke of the Harvard Graduate School of Design.

AAB: One of my favorite pieces from Pulse…those colors. Right: Miami is colorful both during the day and at night. I love finding little details like this around the city that mimic the surrounding natural colors.

AAB: Jimmyz Kitchen and Four tet played a magical show on Friday night and this is what it felt like. Right: Every Sunday I’m in Miami, this is where you can find me! Jump from the hot tub, to the ice bath and then glide into the pool (which has underwater music!). After the sun sets come up for a tasty cocktail and dry off on the beds by the fire pit.
