Do you know New York Fashion Week was first held in 1942 and at that time it was called “Press Week “? The event was organized to divert attention  from French fashion during World War II,  when the fashion industry insiders were unable to travel to Paris to see the shows. Fashion week was officially formed in 1993 by the Council of Fashion Designers of America and staged in a cluster of white tents in Bryant Park. It eventually moved in 2010 to the Lincoln Center.

We were here at New York Fashion Week and hosted our first trunk show. We were overwhelmed with the outcome and can’t wait to host more.

Our trunk shows are the perfect occasion to show our customers dresses so they can try it on, feel the quality and check the fit. It also allows us to learn more about our customers who stem from various industries and backgrounds. 70% of our trunk show attendees walk off with a dress. This is very exciting for us because based on past statistics, 35% of our first time buyers quickly become returning customers. We are pleased we are able to produce a product women love.
